Ongoing Schedule

Counseling Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM

Yoga: 7-8 AM, M-W-F Instructor, Ryan Evans

Join Ryan in our spacious meditation room with a view of the garden bright and early. With gentle stretching and more vigorous moves to wake you up and get you ready for your day, this class can be as easy or challenging as you need. Breakfast tea and coffee will be available afterward, and socializing is encouraged on the patio. Walk-ins are allowed, but space is limited to 15. Reservations will be given priority.

The Skeptic's Corner: 7-8 PM every Wednesday with Father de Coulmier.

A frank exploration of faith and its place in life here on the island. No question is taboo, no topic too controversial. Faith is a living, breathing evolution of thought that should be by choice, not habit. Doubters welcome but a respectful attitude toward differences is a must.

These classes are free; however, donations are encouraged to help us keep the space available to the public.

NOVEMBER

How My Faith Helps me in Difficult Times: 7-8 PM Monday, November 14. Life on Atia is always unpredictable, from curses to sudden arrivals and departures. Join Father de Coulmier in an interactive encounter group to discuss how your faith helps you cope with life on Atia. Members of all faiths welcome. Light refreshments will be served. Minimum 5 Amat donation suggested. Group space is limited to 10.

Community Responsibility, an Exploration: 10AM-4PM Saturday, Nov. 19. Interested in starting a charity or becoming more involved with an existing one in Atia? Come to this workshop to discover the nuts and bolts of what it takes to find space and solicit funding, determine areas of community need, draw up your business plan, and recruit volunteers. We will begin the workshop with a brief overview of services already available on the island.

If you currently own or manage a charity, you are encouraged to attend the workshop to present your services and network. If you have information brochures, bring them as well. Full lunch will be provided. Charity owners and managers attend for free. A minimum 15 Amat donation is suggested for this workshop to cover the cost of materials and food. Space is limited to 20, not including presenters. We hope to see you there!

Check our calendar often! We're adding new classes frequently, and if you'd care to teach, Father de Coulmier would love to hear from you.
